Darwin and I walked by ourselves to the grocery store. It is hard to know where you are going when you can't read the signs. One thing we wanted to get is bottled water. We wanted still water, not sparkling (no gas instead of with gas). I think we ended up with the right thing. I was so proud of us because we made it back to the apartment without getting lost. I said to Darwin ,"don't you feel like an adult now?" When we got up to the right apartment we couldn't get the key to work in the lock. Our facilitator rescued us and we all laughed.
Well at least you made it to the apartment without getting lost. LOL...this is so much fun reading all your posts. I feel like I'm there with you and getting more and more excited as Monday approaches. You both and Anya are continually in my prayers and so wish I could be there to see all of your faces when you are reunited. Our God is so magnificent, full of adventure and surprises. No throwing any wild parties while your facilitator is away. ;-) Can't wait to read your next posts with more pictures.

ReplyDeleteIt worked Carrie! :-)
DeleteLarge 6L bottles of water are always non-carbonated. With the smaller individual ones, the color can tell you what it is 99% of the time - light blue is non-carbonated, green is slightly carbonated, dark blue is heavily carbonated.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that your first few days are going well and have been, more or less, straight forward. Praying for you guys as you journey together in our strange country :) Remember that you can always feel free to call me if you have need to! Any word yet on the brother/sister issue?
